Enrollment Admissions
and enrollment is open to any student in the worldwide community who wishes
to earn an American or International diploma, or who wants to supplement
their traditional learning with online courses of a global nature. If
students are enrolling for independent courses and do not want to earn a
diploma through PLC/i, students should first contact their school counselor
to make certain that course credits will transfer back to their own school
for inclusion on their school transcript. Students
who wish to enroll should: · Have a
working knowledge of the English language as most courses are presented in
English · A computer
with the ability to print, use audio and video files, and connect to the
internet for at least 1 hour per week. (Students are able to download
assignments and upload homework separately for those with limited access.) · Have a desire
to learn about the global cultural and economic community. · Be self
motivated learners and able to manage their time wisely. The

and Costs: Each
full 1 Credit Course costs $500 USD for the entire year’s course. Each
1/2 Credit Course costs $250 USD course. Students
may sign up for a total 8 courses each semester. Note: Schools will be billed after add/drop period has concluded
and do not need to pay in advance. Books Books
for core courses; elementary through high school, are in digital format and
are included in the course fees. The current book list is at http://www.plci.us/books.htm. However,
AP courses that require textbooks must be purchased by the student. Students
may purchase e-books through the MBS/PLCi Bookstore for about
50% of the cost of hard copy textbooks, and receive immediate access. For
